Susan Paige Virga Raleigh

Susan “Paige” Virga Raleigh, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at the age of 62. Born in New Orleans, she lived her life in Baton Rouge. She spent her career working as an Administrative Assistant. 

Paige dedicated her life to her husband and kids. She took great joy in ensuring they were always happy and loving life. She loved sending random messages of love to friends and FaceTiming her grandchildren. She would often be found at home tending her garden and taking photos of her community of birds. When not at home, she loved spending time at the camp going for boat rides and taking nature photos. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Vincent Michael Virga; extended family, Gwendlyn Goings Templet and Terrance Bruce Parrott.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 40 years, Coleman Raleigh; children, Christopher Raleigh and wife Mallory and Brian Raleigh and husband Adam Gilbert; grandchildren, Benjamin, Madison, William Raleigh; mother, Nancy Virga; and siblings, Michael Paul Virga, Kimberly Jean Parrott Daigle, Sherri Templet Jagot, Timothy Wade Parrott, Kerry Dewayne Parrott.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until Funeral Services at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
