Susan Ransome Joly

Susan Ransome Joly, 54, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on November 29, 2016.

Susan worked in the insurance industry for the past 34 years, most recently at Summit Holdings.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Chris Joly, her children, Kristen Renton and husband Jeffrey of Houston, TX, and Kevin Joly of Baton Rouge; her grandchild Maggie Jane Renton; her siblings, Cindy LaCombe and husband Donnie of Gonzales, La, Greg Ransome of Prairieville, La, Mike Ransome of New Roads, La.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Therral and Lorraine Bueche Ransome; her in-laws, Charles Joly, and Jay and Ruth Johnson.

Visiting hour will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy., at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Spell and Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center and Audubon Hospice. Also the countless number of friends and family that provided love and support.
