Susan Boone

Susan Best Boone, 73, a native of Eunice and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on September 11, 2022.

Susan is survived by her husband, Norman; children, Erica Drummond (Mark), Ingrid Hidalgo (Blaine), Stefan Boone (Mercy), Gretchen Tubbs (Scott), Nicholas Boone (Samantha), and Benjamin Boone; her three siblings, Donna Evans, John Best and Billy Best; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Best, Jr. and her mother, Anna Lee Miller Best.

Visiting hours will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 9:30 am until Rosary at 10:30 am and service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Miller Family Cemetery in Eunice, LA at 3:00 pm.

Susan was active in her church with the sewing ministry, Bereavement committee and St. Vincent de Paul. Faith, family, and friends were most important to Susan. She was Mom, Mimi, Sue Sue & Nanny Sue to countless children whom she loved whole heartedly.
