A commercial banker and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Saturday, May 7, 2011. He was 81 and a native of Oklahoma. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Tuesday, May 10, from noon until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Milford Walters. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by three sons, Stuart B. Strasner II and wife Sheri HornStanser, of Pennsylvania, Stanton Stranser, and Sheldon Strasner and wife Jennifer, of Baton Rouge two sisters, Susie Williams and Janet Armstrong a brother, Don Strasner five grandchildren, Liz Hieman, Sarah, Helen, Bert and Ned Strasner and a greatgrandchild, Benjamin Hieman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hope R. Strasner father, Thomas William Strasner mother, Edna McGowan Strasner and a brother, Harold Strasner. He was an undergraduate of Panhandle AM University and graduated from the University of Oklahoma Law School. He was a member of the J.A.G. Group of the U.S. Army. He was director of the Oklahoma Bar Association and Dean of Oklahoma City University.
