Steven J. "Opossum" LeBlanc, age 46, native of Baton Rouge and resident of Plaquemine, passed away on February 26, 2016.
Steve never met a stranger. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved sports, and was a big LSU fan. Steve loved to spend time with his children and his family. He was the best "Cochon de Lait" cook and was also the President of the LA Riders MC, Iberville Parish Chapter. Steve was loved by all who knew him and with heavy hearts he truly will be missed.
He is survived by his daughter, Tristan Jeansonne; son, Hayden J. LeBlanc; mother, Cindy M. Galtier; father, Sidney J. LeBlanc and wife Karen; sister, Brandy R. Fusilier and husband Troy; brother, Chad A. LeBlanc and wife Melissa; half-sisters, Jodi D. Rivett and husband Cory, and Candi A. LeBlanc; stepsister, Mindy Major; stepbrother, Mark Armoney; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Zelmire LeBlanc, and Claude and Ouida Galtier.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM.
Pallbearers will include Chad A. LeBlanc Sr., Chad A. LeBlanc Jr., Cory P. LeBlanc, Blaze M. Hernandez, Mark A. Armoney, Hayden J. LeBlanc, Terry Como, and Max Callegen.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
