Steven Andrew Biggs, born on April 30, 1969, passed from this earth into the arms of his Savior in Paradise on August 22, 2021. Andrew was born and spent his early years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He lived in Fresno, California for four years before returning to Baton Rouge where he graduated from Parkview Baptist High School in 1987. He was a member of the Parkview baseball team that won the State Championship his senior year, of which Andrew was quite proud. He graduated from the University of Alabama where he received Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business. He loved both Alabama and LSU football and often was seen wearing an LSU shirt with an Alabama cap.
Andrew grew up in Parkview Baptist Church in Baton Rouge where he gave his life to Christ at a young age. As an adult, he became a Charter Member of Three Circle Church in Fairhope, Alabama. His faith was his guiding light and moral compass.
Andrew was lovable and easy to know. His personality drew people to him. He never met a stranger and had many lifelong friends. He brightened up any room with his quick wit and keen mind. Andrew was a son to be proud of and leaves his family and friends with wonderful memories of a life full of energy and love. He was the first grandchild and always enjoyed his younger cousins and they loved him. One of Andrew’s favorite things was being an uncle and he supported his nephews in all of their interests.
Andrew’s greatest joy was his two daughters; Jenny and Poppins. He adored his girls almost as much as they adore him. He was proud of their achievements and their beautiful red hair. His wife, Adaina, was the perfect compliment for Andrew, providing a rudder to keep him steady and a warm touch to keep him happy. They lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Adaina Biggs, his parents, Janet and Steve Biggs, his daughters Jenny Elizabeth Biggs and Mary Chapman “Poppins” Weakly (Brody), his sister Mollie Biggs Thomas (Jason), his stepson, Stephen Andrew Watson, his nephews Miles and Jules Thomas, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mollie and Lawrence Biggs and DeLois and Raymond McCrary.
