Steve Lentz

Steve Daniel Danny Lentz, 53, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Ochsner Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. Danny was born May 2, 1959 in Lake Charles, LA. He attended McNeese University where he played drums in the band. He served four years in the Louisiana National Guard. He worked all across the south as a railroad engineer and was a conductor with KCS for over 15 years before retiring to Central. LA. He was a devoted husband and father, a talented musician and songwriter, and an ardent student of the Bible. He leaves behind his wife of 15 years, Janet Armstrong Lentz his sons, Tanner Nevada Lentz and Garan Marshall Lentz his daughters, Toni Danielle Lentz, Shayla Montana Lentz, Santana Virginia Lentz six grandchildren mother, Danielle B Cherry brothers, James C Lentz and Glynn D Oochie Harrison Susan sister, MartiniqueMariessa W Cherry and two nephews. Danny is preceded in death by his grandmother, Sophie K Bobbitt. A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 2pm.
