Stephen Kemp, Sr.

Stephen Steve Phillip Kemp, Sr., 62, passed away due to heart failure on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at his home in McComb, MS with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife, Jan, and motherinlaw Marjorie Barbera children Phillip Kemp Sharon, Brad Kemp Misty, Chris Danos Julie and Jennifer Dier Joey grandchildren Stephen and Clara Kemp, Seth Kemp, Nick Danos, Amber and Trey Clement, and Jesi and Madi Dier brothers, Greg Kemp and Tim Kemp. He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Muriel Kemp. A native of Baton Rouge, he graduated from Broadmoor High School and Mississippi College with a Bachelor of Science and an MBA. He worked in banking and insurance for over 30 years in Baton Rouge and throughout Mississippi. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, May 24 from 11 a.m.2 p.m. with a graveside service at Resthaven Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
