Stephen Keith Edenfield, age 53, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on July 24th. He graduated from Belmont Academy, attended LSU and ULL, and graduated with an associates degree in Mortuary Science from Delgado. He was a member of the national guard. He also was a local business owner of Design Depot. Keith was a loving husband, devoted father, caring brother, and loyal friend to many. He never met a stranger and always went out of his way to help others. He was incredibly proud of his wife and children and made many memories with them that will be treasured forever. Bascoe enjoyed always going hunting and fishing with his dad. His favorite part was camp days. Ann Blair's most valued moment was her dad surprising her with her first car. She also enjoyed to sneak away from mom and Bascoe and go to breakfast with her dad when she would wakeup early enough. Keith will always be remembered for his sarcasm, incredible work ethic, and love for watching all of Bascoe's baseball games. Keith is survived the love of his life, Jill Joffrion Edenfield; his two adoring children, Ann Blair and Bascoe; his mother, Judy Brunt Hensley and his father, Ken Edenfield; three brothers, Kenny Edenfield and wife Pam, Kevin Edenfield, and Kyle Edenfield and wife Frankie; sisters-in-law, Wendy Kleinpeter and husband David, Patti Cavin and husband Dustin; brother-in-law, Paul Joffrion and wife Katy; step brother, Gene Hensley and wife Tracie and step sister, Cindy Lary and husband Clark. He is also survived by his mother-in law, Ann Joffrion and his most trusted friend and role model, Mike Jarreau. He has also survived by his nieces and nephews, KD, Caitlin, Christina, Kiley, Kade, Ainsley, Justin, Sean, Haley, John Micheal, Claire. Along with numerous aunts. and uncles. Keith was preceded in death by, Doyle Hensley, Paul Joffrion Sr., Paul Wayne. Pallbearers will be Kenny, Kevin, Kyle, KD, Kade Edenfield, Micheal Stewart, Paul Johnson, and Tad Nicolosi. Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, July 29th from 12:30pm-2:30pm until services at 2:30pm. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Edenfield children's account at Regions Bank.
