Stafford Mayberry

Mr. Stafford Ray Mayberry was born on November 5, 1935. He was a native of Simmesport. Louisiana. He passed away on September 10, 2012 at his home in Baton Rouge, LA at the age of 76. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Thursday, September 13. 2012 from 5 pm until 9 pm and will resume on Friday. September 14 from 9 am until religious services at 11 am. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Mr. Mayberry was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a former supervisor of Holsum Bakery in Baton Rouge. Mr. Mayberry was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis Ann Harrison of Watson his son, Troy Joseph Mayberry of Central daughterinlaw. Valerie Mayberry four grandchildren. Natasha Leteff, Tori Savage. Angela Brignac, and Brandon Golson three stepgrandchildren, Kim, Christy, and Bubba Cline six great grandchildren, Shawn Brignac, Kyla Murphy. Kaleb and Desirae Pruyn, and Layla and Jonathan Savage, and Jayce Golson one brother, Bruce Mayberry of Prairieville four sisters, Henrietta Ezernack of Bossier City, Fay Cazelot and Linda Rachal of Simmesport and Emmie Chesne of Echo and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also a father to his youngest siblings. Mr. Mayberry is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanie Shelton Mayberry and his son, Gene Ray Mayberry daughter, SherryDee Mayberry two brothers, Sam and Joe Mayberry five sisters, Helen, Joann, Estelle, Barbara, and Peggy his parents. Joseph and Ethel Mayberry and grandsoninlaw, Shane Brignac. Mr. Mayberry was a loved man who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
