Stacy Green

Stacy M. Green, 88, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014 at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. He was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Zachary, LA. Stacy proudly served as a Private First Class in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was in the Co. D 262nd Infantry Regiment 66th Infantry Division Black Panthers.

Stacy is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Kathleen Kathy Green daughter, Ann McDonald and husband Gary grandchildren, Karen Ward and husband Joe, Tony McDonald and wife Monica, Douglas McDonald and wife Robin, Christopher Jones and Amy Rogers and husband Mark sister, Rachel Moran of Central, LA brothers, Macy Green and wife Bonnie of Ashville, AL and Hacy Green and wife Deni of Garrettsville, OH seven greatgrandchildren and two great greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Tracy and Mary Green daughters, Linda and Joan Green brothers, Tracy D. Green, Lacy Green and Percy Green and sister, Marie Green.

Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and will resume on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 11:00 am until service time. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Special appreciation and thanks to Gary and Judy Green for being there for Stacy.
