Shirley Williams

Shirley H. Williams, age 75, a resident of Baton Rouge, La., passed away December 16, 2018.

Shirley is survived by her devoted daughter, Terra Taylor and husband Patrick Taylor, Sr.; grandchildren, Shayne Taylor, Trinity Taylor, and Patrick Taylor, II; sisters, Joyce Burbank, Annette McMellar (Alton), Gloria Oliver (Frank), Barbara Duhe (Errol), Diane Williams, Christine Williams; brothers, Eddie Hargrove (Stephanie), Anthony Hargrove (Pamela); Godchild, Tammy Burbank, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Shirley was at teacher in the Ascension Parish School System for 33 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Williams, Jr., her parents Thomas and Ada Hargrove; brothers, Lucious Hargrove and Willie Hargrove; sisters, Clothilde Hargrove and Donna Burns; brother-in-law, Bruce Burbank; and sister-in-law, Loraine Hargrove.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, December 21, 2018 9:00am until funeral service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
