Shirley Baker

Shirley Nichols Baker, native of Howard, KS and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. She was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church and volunteered at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Wilson and her husband Stewart and Patricia Smith and husband Darryl son, Michael Baker and wife Carol grandchildren, Wendy Schiele and husband Patrick, Mark Wilson and wife Jennifer, Stacy Metzgar and husband Tal, Steven Smith and wife Ann, Matthew Coxe and wife Cara, and Patrick Baker greatgrandchildren, Kristin, Johnathan, and Nathan Schiele, Grace, Emily, and Isabelle Wilson, Chelsea Richard, Paul, Emily, Sarah, and Anna Metzgar, Lindsay and Grant Smith, and Chloie and Byron Coxe and granddaughterinlaw, Jodi Wilson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Baker her parents, Harold and Kathryn Nichols two brothers, and grandson, Stewart Wilson, Jr.

Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 1:00 pm until service time. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
