Shirley Alexander

Shirley W. Alexander, age 92, resident of Pierre Part, LA, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at her residence.

Shirley was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Pierre Part, LA, and owned her own beauty shop, Patton's House of Beauty, in Baton Rouge, LA. She also enjoyed sewing, ceramics, and square dancing.

She is survived by her sons, Charles C. Patton and wife Beverly Kay of Pierre Part, LA; stepsons, Mike Alexander of Boyce, LA, and Tommy Alexander and wife JoAnn of Boyce, LA; and granddaughter, Amber Nicole Patton.

Shirley is preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis L. Patton; second husband, Bilbo M. Alexander; stepdaughter, Judy Alexander Peavey; stepson, Billy Alexander; sisters, Tina Palmer, Lillar House, and Irene Sylvester; and brothers, James Williams and George Williams.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A second visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Resthaven Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until the time of services.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Jerry Rockwell

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
