Shelly Cline

It is with great sadness our family shares the passing of Shelly Marie Cline. Born July 30th, 1970, she gained her wings on May 12th, 2022. Through a life of special needs, she defined unconditional love to all.

Shelly is survived by her mother Nita McDonald and step father Leland McDonald, one sister Donna, two brothers Buddy (spouse Eva) and Ricky (spouse Wendy), step brothers Rodney (spouse Stephanie), Brian, stepsister Mandy (boyfriend Kellen), numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by grandparents Vincent and Nita Cambre, Joseph E. and Mary Cline, father Joseph G. Cline, step mother Helen M. Cline, two brothers Brent and Jeff.
A special mention for her long-term caregivers Rikyra Morris (10 years) and Wondia Varnado (12 years).

Shelly was a member of Covenant Community Church. She was loved beyond measure and will be deeply missed.

Service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Resthaven Funeral Home located at 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70816 with a visitation starting at 9am until the funeral service at 11am. Services will be conducted by Rev. Jeff Stanfill and Rev. Jim Gross.
