Trusting in Gods promise, The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, Romans 6:23b, our precious Shelley Belle entered heaven on July 1, 2013. Shelley Anne Baker was 25 years old, born on February 6, 1988 to Steve and Kim Cox Baker. She grew up in Baton Rouge, attended Family Christian Academy, and was a 2006 graduate of Christian Life Academy. She is survived by her parents, Steve and Kim brothers, Allen and Todd Baker her grandmother, Charlene Dorman Cox grandfather, Glenn Baker aunts and uncles, Susan Fontenot, Randy Cox Becky, Tim Cox Jonna, and Barry Baker as well as many beloved cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ira Leroy Paw Cox and Bertha Jane Baker and her sweet cousin, Bryson Fontenot. Shelley attended church with her family at Community Bible Church in Baton Rouge. She will always be remembered for her bright smile, her beautiful eyes, her nurturing personality, and her boundless love for family and friends. Shelleys greatest desire was to live a life pleasing to her Savior Jesus Christ. From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. II Timothy 3:15. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 4, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA. Visitation will continue on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Community Bible Church, 8354 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA starting at 9:00 am until services at 11:00 am. Dr. Steve Foster will conduct the funeral service. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
