Sharon R. Rybolt

Sharon Rybolt joined our loving father in heaven on October 17, 2024, at the age of 75, after a long and inspirational battle with cancer. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. To know Sharon was to know joy. She was quick to laugh, the life of the party and never met a stranger. She traveled the world as a military wife exploring many countries, enjoying the artistry and cuisine. She loved shopping with her daughters, her sons’ cajun cooking and anything and everything that had to do with her grandson. She was dedicated to the church through many years of ministry. Through her decades committed to real estate, she helped hundreds of people find happiness in purchasing a new home. Special thank you to her very best friends of over 34 years, The Krewe of Krowe. She adored you and we enjoyed the stories! 

Sharon is survived by her husband, Henry Rybolt; 3 children, Chip Rybolt, Angie Rybolt Martel, and Rachel Rybolt; grandson Collin Martel; brother Ralph Ruiz (Joyce); and numerous relatives and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Jessie and Verna Ruiz. 

Visitation will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Ln, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Serving as Pallbearers are Collin Martel, Toby Womack, Tyler Womack, Shane Martel and Joshua Martel. The family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses for the love and care given to her.
