Sharon Ducote

Sharon Sellars Ducote passed peacefully on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the age of 36 after a courageous fight with a rare neurological disease, Stiff Person Syndrome. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She was a devout Christian and loved Jesus with her whole heart. Her greatest joy was making memories with her husband Kurt and their five beautiful children. Sharon was generous, kind, loving and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Devoted wife of Kurt Ducote. Loving mother of Callie Michelle Cassagne, Aubrie May Cassagne, Averie Ann Cassagne and her bonus babies Regan Paige Ducote, and Brennan David Ducote. Daughter of Glenn Sellars, Sr. and Kathy Sellars. Sister of Naomi Sellars and the late Glenn Michael Sellars, Jr. Daughter-in-law of Charlene Ducote and the late David Ducote. Sister-in-law of Brian Ducote (Jennifer). Preceded in death by her grandparents Willie “Bill” Sellars, Elsie Sellars, John Tassara and Kathleen “Kat” Tassara. Sharon is also survived by a host of loving relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Thursday January 6, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service begins at 11:00 am.
