Scottie Mccarty

Scottie Oliver McCarty, 77, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013. Native of El Dorado, Arkansas and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Scottie was a loving mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was cooking for her family. She had the voice of an angel and loved to sing and play the piano. She is survived by her two daughters and sonsinlaw, Tammy and David Falgout, and Judy and Brad Pace her son and daughterinlaw Brad and Virginia Fisher seven wonderful grandchildren, Philip Falgout, Andrew Fisher, Lyndon Pace, Brenna Pace, Cameron Falgout, James Bradford Fisher, Jr., and Megan Fisher and one greatgrandchild, Brennan. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Henry McCarty parents Winfield Scott and Lula Ginn Oliver two sisters, Hilda Cummins and Jody Allen and one brother, Buddy Oliver. Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 starting at 11:30 am until funeral service at 1:30 pm, officiated by Rev.
