Scott Wingate

Scott Randall Wingate passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional medical Center at the age of 54. He was a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Scott attended Parkview Baptist Church and was a certified welder and machinist. Scott was a loving son, father, grandfather, and brother. He was survived by his parents, James M. and Margaret M. Wingate daughter, Robi Nicole Wingate son, James Wingate 3 grandchildren, Victorie, Hallie, and Abigail sister, Ann Wingate and brothers, James E. Wingate and Jeffrey Wingate. Jason Wingate will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Scott was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Wingate. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 2 pm until 5 pm. Visiting will continue at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 12 noon until service at 1:30 pm, conducted by Bro. Merlin Liverman and Bro. Phillip Willis.
