Sandra Parsons

A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Pittsburg, she died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at age 62. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Saturday, Feb. 20, from 1 p.m. until service at 4 p.m., conducted by Minister Eddie White. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her husband, James C. Parsons two daughters, Mindy Davis and husband Troy Davis, and Melissa Mantilla and husband Octavio Mantilla three sons, Tim Parsons and wife Rachel Parsons, Tom Parsons and wife Angie Parsons, and Allen Parsons a sister, Kathy Brown and a brother, David Barczak and 10 grandchildren whom she was devoted to. She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Edward Barczak and a sister, Patricia Burch. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
