Sandra White Celestin of Hot Springs Village, AR, formerly of St. Francisville and Baton Rouge, LA, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017.
She was born June 20, 1944 to the late Joseph Wesley White and Mary Louise Bergeron White.
She is survived by her son, Dean and daughter-in-law, April; three grandchildren, Matthew, Ansley and Laney-Claire; and four sisters, Dolores Duczer of Summit, MS, Karen Spencer of Beaumont, TX, Trudy Spillman and husband Mark of St. Francisville, LA, and Gail Chastant and husband Lee of Zachary, LA.
Sandy was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Danny Celestin.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Hot Springs Village, AR. Sandra was a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved to garden, cook, golf, read and spend time with her grandchildren.
Sandy retired after 30 years from Brand Scaffold Service as an accountant. She later moved to Hot Springs Village, AR as a proprietor of Danny at Ponce Restaurant for 10 years.
Visiting hours will take place on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Visiting hours will resume Friday, March 31, 2017 beginning at 10:00 AM until a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
There will be a memorial service in Hot Springs Village, AR at a later date.
