A native of Mount Pleasant, Texas and resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at Ochsner Medical Center, New Orleans. He was 17 years old. An 11th grade student at Parkview Baptist School and enjoyed playing on the football team. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and was active in the Parkview Baptist Student Ministries and Youth Praise Band. Visiting at Istrouma Baptist Church, 10500 Sam Rushing Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Monday, Feb. 27, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes at the church on Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 8:30 a.m. until service at 9:30 a.m., conducted by Dr. Billy Stevens and Dr. Scott Thompson. Graveside service at Mount Zion Cemetery, Hall Summit, La., on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 5 p.m. Survived by his parents, the Rev. Collin and Gina Wimberly paternal grandparents, Lary and Louise Wimberly maternal grandparents, R.L. and Judy Langston four sisters, Juliana Wimberly Handy and husband John P. Handy II, Micah Wimberly, Hope Wimberly and Leah Carrie Wimberly four brothers, Daniel Wimberly, Seth Wimberly, Steven Wimberly and Silas Wimberly. Honorary pallbearers are Lary Wimberly, R.L. Langston, Coach Kenny Guillot, Gary Langston, R.L. Langston Jr. and Reggie Bergeron. Pallbearers will be Daniel Wimberly, John P.
