A retired employee of Jacobs Engineering and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 11:55 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, 2009. He was 81, a native of Mississippi and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at Broadmoor Baptist Church on Friday from 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Jarrett Banks. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife, Loretta T. Graham; two daughters, Linda Gale Sidenblad and husband Ray, and Jewel Graham; brother, Robert Rouse; two granddaughters, Candice Cancienne and husband Chris, and Heather Sidenblad; two great-grandsons, Jude and Hudson Cancienne; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Powaiski; and brother, Dewey Graham. He was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church.
