Ruth Thibodeaux

Thibodeaux, Ruth Aline Behrnes, a lifelong native of Baton Rouge passed away Friday, May 18, 2012. She was 91. She is survived by five sons, Jimmy Thibodeaux and wife Anna Chauvin, Tommy Thibodeaux and wife Lura Sheehan, Ronny Thibodeaux and wife Barbara Masey, Mike Thibodeaux and wife Melissa Edwards and Ned Thibodeaux and wife Brenda Licata daughterinlaw Ginger Hardgraves three brothers, Achille, Gene and Ernest Behrnes, two sisters, Shirley Demler and Glenda Boudreaux 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her husband, W.H. Buddy Thibodeaux, her parents, W.H. and Sena Knaps Behrnes, brother, Henry Behrnes and a great grandson, Reed Stricker. Her sons wish to thank their aunts, Shirley and Glenda, who gave such loving care to their mother in her final days. A Memorial service for Ruth Thibodeaux and her husband W.H. Buddy Thibodeaux will be held on Thursday, May 24, at St. Lukes Episcopal Church, 8833 Goodwood Blvd. Visitation from 9 am until service at 10 am. Inurnment to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd.
