Ruth Jenkins

Ruth G. Jenkins, 83, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2013, at The Haven at Windermere surrounded by her loving family. Native of St. Louis, Missouri and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana for 64 years. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother. She was a cofounder of Jenkins Tile Co. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Deborah Bodey and husband Patrick sons, Randy Jenkins and wife Michelle, and Glen Jenkins and wife Jeanne two brothers, Jack Guignard and wife Shirley, and Dick Guignard and wife Shirley five grandchildren six greatgrandchildren and a seventh greatgranddaughter due on Christmas day. She was preceded in death by her husband William J. Jenkins and a son William Kent Jenkins. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 1 pm until funeral service at 2:30 pm conducted by Rev. Daniel LeBlanc.
