A loving wife, mother and grandmother, and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 10:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at Lakewood Quarters. She was 91 and a native of Avoyelles Parish. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Sunday, Jan. 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home chapel on Monday, Feb. 1, from 1 p.m. until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. David Womack. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by a daughter and soninlaw, Diane S. and Charles Bradley three sons and daughtersinlaw, Alvin Kenneth and Carolyn Smith, Edward Russell Smith and Evelyn Smith, and Ronald David and Kathy Smith 11 grandchildren, Charles Edward Bradley III, Stacey D. Bradley, Julie Lea Kadair, Jill J. Smith, Scott D. Smith, Derek Russell Smith, Danielle Renee Smith, James Christian Gordon, Christina Renee Woods, Ronald David Smith Jr. and Adrienne Victoria Smith and eight greatgrandchildren, Ashlee Hope Gains, Jordan S. Kadair, Patrick Gordon, Noah Gordon, Anna Kathryn Elise Woods, Jonathan Andrew Bradley, Timothy Dillon Bradley and Christopher David Bradley. Preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Carroll Bennett and Izola Tubre Savoy husband, Edward Russell Smith Sr. and two brothers, Eugene Carroll Bennett and Jesse Ray Bennett.
