Ruby Jolissaint

A retired bus driver with the East Baton Rouge Parish school system, she died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 80 and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, Dec. 19, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until religious service at 3 p.m., conducted by the Rev. John E. Green and the Rev. Johnny Green. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by two sons, Larry Jolissaint and wife Susann, and Dennis Jolissaint and wife Ann; sister, Janice Marie Mullins and husband Phil; two brothers, John E. Green and wife M. Janice, Joseph W. J.W. Green and wife Sandra; six grandchildren, Joseph H. Jolissaint, Julie Jolissaint Smoak, Tela Jolissaint Antkowiak, Teri Jolissaint Surber, Traci Jolissaint Messick and Tyler W. Jolissaint; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Paul Jolissaint; and parents, John and Dutchie Green.
