Roy Issac White native of Plaquemine La and resident of Baton Rouge, La passed away on Monday, January 14, 2013 at the age of 92. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Richard and Darlene White, Stephen and Karen White, Linda and Frank Polozola, Patricia and Emmett Wilder, and Annette and Michael Bates 14 grandchildren and 26 greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Margie Logue White parents, Leonard and Cornelia Thompson White siblings, Cleora Bourgoyne, Hazel Harold, Kearnel White, Myrtle Falcon, Sylvia Blanchard, Willard White, Ransdell White, Clara Blanchard, Wesley White, Gerald White, Leonard White Jr, and Donald White grandson, Jacob W. White and great grandchild, Keri Deaton. Roy was a US Navy Veteran of WWII along with four of his brothers. He was employed by Solvay Process for 37 years. Roy was a master of all trades, and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Greg, Gordon, Rhett, Troy, Todd, Caleb, and Ben. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
