Roxie Bailey

Roxie Bailey, 53, of Baton Rouge, passed away at Ochsner Hospital on May 9, 2016.

Roxie was born in Baton Rouge, to Clarence and Anna Bailey on May 28, 1962.

Roxie is preceded in death by her mother, Anna Bailey; her sister, Gayle Bailey; her brother, Craig Bailey; and her niece, Kathleen Bailey.

She is survived by her children, Cassie Comer and husband, Ed, and Garrett Bailey; her brothers, Dr. Kirk Bailey and wife, Millie, Gary Bailey and wife, Clothilde, Brett Bailey and wife, Lynn, Mark Bailey and wife, Debbie and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway on Friday, May 13, 2016, from 11:00 AM until services at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow.

Roxie had a smile that could light up a room & an unforgettable laugh that touched many lives. She loved deeply, especially her family. She is now free & rejoicing with our Heavenly Father.

The family of Roxie wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all of our family and friends for the tremendous outpouring of prayers and support.
