Rosemary Lambert, 71, a retired elementary school teacher passed away on January 5, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge. Rosemary was born June 22, 1947 in Rochester, PA to Emory P. and Ann Cain. On August 30, 1975 she married Fredrick P. Lambert, he preceded her in death after 36 years of marriage in December 2011. She was a faithful member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Irish Club, a book club and enjoyed playing Bunco with her friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Rita Lambert LeBlanc, and spouse Jeffrey, daughter Sarah Lambert Ernest and spouse Yancey; son, Brian P. Lambert and spouse Monique; nine grandchildren, Austin and Grant Bihm, Julia, Chloe and James Ernest, Dominic, Adrien and Quentin Lambert, and Jude Beachler; and she shared a special bond with Ashlie and Corbin LeBlanc; first cousin, George Patterson and her special companion William Morgan, whom she enjoyed going out to eat and sharing time together. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick P. Lambert; son, James P. Lambert; and her grand-daughter Rebecca Ann Bihm.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, Friday, January 11, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
