Rosalie Rockett

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 92 years old and a resident of Baton Rouge. She was a firecracker and truly an inspiration to all. Visiting will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, April 7th from 5pm until 8pm. Visiting will resume at the funeral home on Friday, April 8th from 9am until service at 11am, conducted by Rev. Milford Walters. Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by her sons and daughtersinlaw, Carlton Lee Rockett and Bonnie Sue of Bowling Green, Ohio Mike Rockett and Ruby of Baton Rouge a sister and brotherinlaw, Dorothy and Don Nansel grandchildren, David, Dereck, Elizabeth, Lauren, and Christine Rockett Dawn Hollingsworth Travis, Chas, and Sky Rockett and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Carlton Rockett parents, Sellers and Clara Bays a son, Tim Rockett a grandson, Erik Rockett sister, Lucille Murray and brothers, Raymond, Earl and John Ed Bays.
