Ronnie "Rab" Rabalais, age 61, passed away peacefully on October 4,2016 at St. Joseph's carpenter house. Ronnie was an outstanding family man and friend who was loved, respected and admired my many. He was quick witted and an avid LSU fan who never failed to get the party started with his infamous dance moves. He had an infectious spirit that never failed to bring a smile to everyone's face. He will truly be missed.
He is proceeded in death by his beloved wife, Karen "Kay" Rabalais, his son, Nicholas Paul, parents, Anthony and Catherine Rabalais, and his sister, Judy Desselle.
He is survived by his sons, Jeremy Paul and wife, Stephanie, Joshua Paul and wife, Krissy, Evan Mark and Noah Michael; his grandchildren, Hailie, Joshua Jr., and Madielynn; his sisters, Christine Rousseau and husband, Randy, Cathy Walls and husband, Jimmie, and Connie Palubinskas and husband, Edward; his sister-cuz, Debra Lilly; his brother-in-law, Steve Finlay, and wife Michelle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Thursday, October 6, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, October 7, 2016, from 8:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Highway. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
