Ronald Weaver

He passed away peacefully at his home in Baton Rouge from an extended illness on Thursday, December 1, 2011. He was 71 years old, a native of Middlebury, Indiana and a resident of the Baton Rouge area for over 12 years. He was a retired Registered Land Surveyor after a career that spanned 35 years. He graduated from Shipshewana Scott High School in 1958 and attended Western Michigan University. A memorial service will be held December 29, 2011 at Walley Mills Zimmermann Funeral Home. He will be buried in Rowe Cemetery in Elkhart, Indiana. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Julie Dumke Weaver daughters, Susan M. Weaver of Lexington, Kentucky and Karin M. Johnson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana sons, Jeffery A Weaver of Lucerne, Indiana Jeffrey R. Johnson and wife Jill Leckner of Brooklyn, New York Mark E. Johnson and wife Veronica Fuente of Pacific Grove, California and Matthew S. Johnson and wife Ilaria DiMatteo of Pelham, New York grandsons, Gabriel, Matteo, Alessio, Luca, Milo and Arlo as well as numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Maurine Musser Weaver. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Kenny Cole and St. Joseph Hospice.
