Ronald Munro Mills
passed away on Wednesday, October 8 at his home at the age of 72. He was born in Baton Rouge, graduated from Baton Rouge High School and Louisiana State University. He retired from Ethyl Corporation and ChevronTexaco as a welder and oil refinery inspector. Ronald enjoyed the outdoors, birding, fishing at his camp at Toledo Bend, and raising horses.

He is survived by his wife of fortysix years, Karen Brou Mills two daughters, Christine Mills Smith, MD and Jeanette Mills three brothers and their wives, William and Beverly Mills, David and Pearl Mills, and Tommy and Karen Boriski Mills and two grandchildren, Brooke Smith and Jessica Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Frances Mills and twin brother, Donald Mills.

Visitation will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 9:00 am until service time. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, by Pastor Larry Norman. Graveside service will be Saturday, October 11 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Donaldsonville, LA 70346 at 1:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zachary United Methodist Church at http:www.zacharyumc.org. The family would like to thank Carpenter House, St. Josephs Hospice, and Alice Davis for providing supportive care
