Ronald “Ronnie” Bennett Langlois, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Watson, LA, passed away at Ochsner Medical Center on Friday, July 26, 2024 at the age of 76. He was a graduate of Istrouma High School. He retired from Exxon Plastics working as a Plastics Technician. He served as pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was a devoted family man, who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoyed firearms, airplanes, and more importantly, talking!!!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Bennett Langlois and Mae Ella (Rusty) Langlois; and his sister, Jean Guarino.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Peggy Jean Blackard Langlois; his children, Mitchell Langlois (Nikki) and Monica Langlois Covington (Wade); grandchildren, Geddy Langlois (Caitlyn), Gavin Covington, and Sydni Covington; his sister, Joan Horne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
