Ronald Landry

Ronald Landry Sr. passed away on December 27, 2018 at the age of 89 at his home. He was a loving, compassionate soul who adored his family. He was a war veteran in the Army for the Korean War. Ron was a graduate of Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Ron was a retired banker. He had a great love for LSU football. He enjoyed spending time cooking and entertaining friends and family alongside his beloved wife, Dean. He loved animals, especially his cat Oreo. He is survived by his son, Ronald Landry Jr., his sister and brother-in-law Judy and Roy "Butch" Nelms, his brother and wife Thomas and Marlyn Landry, his brother and wife Patrick and Gretchen Landry, his sister Rita Mabel Malone, and his sister, Sister Lorraine Landry, SSND; his daughter-in-law Paige Hiatt, his daughter Sara "Rusty" White; his grandchildren Jesse Anthony Jr., and wife Crystal Anthony, Jessica Lesaicherre and husband Ryan Lesaicherre, Caroline Landry, Phillip Landry, Andrew Landry, Justin Landry, Courtney Anthony, Rylan Hiatt, Blake Hiatt, and numerous great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dean Landry; his parents, Lazard and Ida Landry, his brother John E. Landry, his brother-in-law Kenneth Malone, his children: Larry Landry, Susan Hiatt, Michael Landry, Linda Anthony, and Brett Hiatt, granddaughter Jennifer Anthony, grandson Jeffrey Landry. Visitation will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am with funeral services to follow. Pallbearers are Rylan Hiatt, Blake Hiatt, Ryan Lesaicherre, Phillip Landry, Andrew Landry, & Craig Nelms.
