Ronald Cobb

Passed away peacefully after battling several illnesses surrounded by his family on January 12, 2010 at the age of 75. He attended B.R. High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for 22 years. He retired as a Master Sergeant from the USMC as well as from the U.S. Postal Service and a resident of Denham Springs. Survived by his wife Bobbie of 39 years, daughter Debbie Cobb, sons Ronnie Cobb, Scotty Cobb and daughterinlaw Stephanie, Frankie Donald Cox, sister Gloria Pevey, brothers Robert and sisterinlaw Suzette and Darrell Cobb, grandchildren Landon, London and husband Jonathan, Austin, Hunter, Madison, Ashley, Cameron LCpl, USMC, Cassie, great grandsons Skyler, Aiden and Zane as well numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents J.R. and Lee Vern Cobb, sister June Brown, sons John and Jimmy Cox, grandchildren Devon Jackson and Kayla Cox. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Visitation will be held on Monday, 18 Jan 2010 from 5 8 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Full Military Honors will be held at Port Hudson National Cemetery, 20978 Port Hickey Road Zachary, LA 70791 on Tuesday, 19 Jan 2010 Port at 11:00 AM. In Lieu of Flowers, donations are being accepted by the family to help off set the funeral expenses.
