Roland Jumonville

Roland J. Jumonville, age 88, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on July 27, 2018.

Roland was a Veteran of the United States Military, spending four years in the Marine Corp. and two years in the Navy, also having fought in the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Emily Viccellio Jumonville; his daughters, Janet Jumonville Fuselier and husband Shane and Susan Jumonville Prejean and husband Kenneth; his grandchildren, Brandon Fuselier, Amy Hughes and husband Mike, Kevin Prejean, Justin Prejean, and Jason Prejean; and three great-grandchildren, Shane Hughes, Jorja Prejean, and Danirae Prejean.

Roland is preceded in death by his mother, Viola Guidry Jumonville; his father, Joseph Jumonville; his sister, Thelma Jumonville Danna; and his son, Daniel M. Jumonville.

Visitation will be held at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church, 16166 S Harrells Ferry Rd, Baton Rouge, LA on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 10:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Prejean, Kevin Prejean, Jason Prejean, Justin Prejean, and Brandon Fuselier.
