Rodney Teekel

A loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Rodney passed away at the age of 50.

He resided in Walker, LA with his loving wife of 29 years, Christina P. Teekel, and their four children, Stephanie Leigh Bourgeois, Matthew Thomas Teekel Sr. (Kellie Courville), Andrew Bailey Teekel and Abbagayle Claire Teekel. Also, his older brother Robert W. Teekel, and younger sisters, Melinda T. Williams (Loren), and Tammy J. Teekel. Father, Thomas Wesley Teekel and wife Lisa Christiana of Baton Rouge.
He had three grandchildren whom he adored, Mary Grace, Kynlee, and Matthew Jr. As well as many friends, cousins, aunts & uncles. He is proceeded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his mother Linda Teekel, and his triplets (Rodney Jr., Mary, and Makaya Teekel).

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home located at 11817 Jefferson Hwy Baton Rouge, LA 70816 on Wednesday, June 20th from 6-8 pm. Thursday, June 21st from 9-11 am until services at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will be TJ Pierce, Tadd Davis, Cody Teekel, Bishop Teekel, Trevor Miller, Wayne Brian, Thomas Williams, and Hart Goodman.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Todd Fisher and Seth Monroe. Rodney deeply enjoyed all outdoor activities, music, but above all, he cherished the time spent with his family.
