Rodney Petreikis

A resident of Baton Rouge, born August 16, 1966 in Dorchester, MA. Son of Linda Gahagan Petreikis and Vincent Charles Petreikis. Relocated to Louisiana in 1979. Graduated Salmen High School, Slidell, LA in 1984. Attended Loyola University in New Orleans, majoring in acting. Worked in the film industry in Texas, Louisiana and California.

Survived by his father, Vincent C. Petreikis, stepmother Barbara Bertrand Petreikis, three step sisters, Gina Fernandez, Jill Willie (Brett), and Amy Ybarzabal (James) and twelve nephews and nieces: Nicholas, Eric, Daniel, Benjamin and Madeline Priola, Adam, Gabrielle, Kyle and Camille Ybarzabal, Foster, Simon and Samuel Willie, and numerous relatives throughout the country.

Rod passed away on March 7, 2016 at his residence in Baton Rouge, LA.

Rodney Petreikis' memorial service is planned for Friday, April 15th, 2016. The location for the visitation and memorial Mass is St. Clement of Rome Church, 4317 Richland Avenue, Metairie, La. 70002. Visitation 9 am to 11 am., Mass at 11 am. Interment will follow at Tranquil Oaks in Lake Lawn Cemeteries, Main Fountain Entrance 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd.
