Roderick Maybee

Roderick Maybee passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019, at the age of 96. Rod is survived by his son, Miles Maybee and his wife Denise; his daughter-in-law, Kathleen Hebert; his three grandchildren, Heather Robinson, Roderick Maybee, and Michelle Maybee; and his seven great-granchildren, Reese, Ruby, Lili, Cole, Kayla, Lucas, and Liam.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Maybee; and his son Roderick Maybee

Rod spent several years in the Navy and was in both World War II and the Korean War. He then went to work for and retired from Shell Oil as a chemical engineer/recruiter. He enjoyed his retirement traveling the world with this wife Ruby and volunteering at church. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, July 5, 2019, beginning at noon followed by a chapel service at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to one of the veterans organizations.
