Robert "Bobby" Sanches, Jr.

Robert “Bobby” Sanches, Jr, age 69, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022.

He attended Istrouma High School and Southeastern Louisiana University. He began and ended his career at Exxon, retiring as a Lab Supervisor after almost 40 years. He made an impact on many lives over the years as a youth sports coach in his spare time. He was an avid sports fan and loved going to LSU games with his family. He was a loving dad to 4 children and 7 grandchildren and nothing made him happier than attending and watching his grandchildren’s athletic events and spending time with family and friends.

Bobby is survived by his daughters, Kali Hay (husband Sam), Keitha Bradford, Kendra Cain (husband Shannon); sisters Robin Weltens, Candice Kent (husband Mark); grandchildren Holden Sanches, Lillian Cain, Bradford Cain, Brewer Cain, Carter Hay, Hutch Hay, Landry Hay, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son Ted Sanches, father Robert Sanches Sr, mother Joann Brumfield Sanches.

Visiting Hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 9:00am until services at 10:30am. Burial to follow services. Pallbearers will be Sam Hay, Shannon Cain, Holden Sanches, Bradford Cain, Brewer Cain and Peter Turnage. Honorary Pallbearer will be Hutch Hay.
