Roberta Daigle

Roberta Joyce Daigle, 88, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. She was a very strong and independent woman, but also an extremely loving and caring person. Joyce loved spending time with her family. She was both a native and longtime resident of Baton Rouge, LA.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Linda Daigle and Joycelyn Murphy six grandchildren, Roland Bennie Guerin, Jr., Suzanne M. Primeaux, Kimberly Rene Covington, James T. Murphy, Christopher R. Murphy and Patrick Murphy and 22 greatgrandchildren, Brittany and Blaine Covington, Kole and Jacob Guerin and Kolton Matthews, Ethen and Gavin Womack, Dylan and Brandon Primeaux, Jessica, Joshua and Jake Murphy, Alexandra, Caleb, Katarina, Lily and Felicia Murphy and Zachary, Gina Rose, Rodney, Anna and Emily. Preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Daigle parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matthew A. Scarabin two sisters, Delores Urban and Myrtle Harrold and aunt, Mabel Thibodeaux.

Visiting will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 10:00 am until funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be Roland, Jamie, Britt, Eric, Dylan and Kole. Honorary Pallbearers will be Zachary, Ethen, Brandon and Kolton.
