Robert Southard, Sr.

A retired employee with Millwright Local 720, he passed away at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 4:23pm. He was 70 years old, a native of Daisy, Kentucky and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was an Korean War Army Veteran. Visiting will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, July 15, 2011 from 5pm until 8pm. Visiting will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, July 16, 2011 from 8am until service at 10am. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife, Betty S. Southard daughter, Gina Moise sons, Robert Southard Jr. and Kevin J. Southard soninlaw, Tim Moise daughtersinlaw, Judy Maranto Southard and Monica Southard sister, Katherine Howard brothers, Jim Southard and wife Beulah Tom Southard and wife Judy grandchildren, Robert C. Southard III Samantha Southard Emily Southard Kelsy Southard Amelia Southard Reed Moise Haley Southard and Olivia Moise. He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Pauline Southard sister, Phyllis Gilliam and Virginia Southard. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to LOPA.
