Robert Roberts

Robert "Bob" Roberts, age 75, a native of Minden, LA and a resident of Port Allen, LA passed away on December 29, 2017.

Bob was a retired West Monroe Fire Chief and was an LSU Fire Training Instructor. He was an avid LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He loved tending to flowers.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Monica Roberts Funderburk and husband Woodie of West Monroe, LA, Roxanne Marie Roberts of Dallas, TX, and Ramona Roberts Weeks and husband Billy of Monroe, LA; his sister, Carolyn Peavy of Port Allen, LA; his brothers, BJ Roberts and wife Linda of Hooks, TX and Tommy Bennett and wife Denise of Lafayette, LA; his grandchildren, Amelia Simon and husband Christian, Daila Weeks, and Trey Weeks; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elbert Roberts and Marguerite Mitchell; and brother, J.C. Roberts.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 9:00am until funeral service at 11:00am.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Wayne Morris Mitchell, Paul Mitchell, Tyrone Peavy, Bryan Peavy, Woodie Funderburk, and Trey Weeks.
