Robert May

A retired employee with Exxon Resin Plant, he died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 72 and a native of Tuscaloosa, Ala. Visiting at St. John United Methodist Church, 9375 Highland Road, on Tuesday, Jan. 13, from 5 p.m. until religious service at 7 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Tim Lawson. Interment in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park, Tuscaloosa. Survived by his wife, Mary S. May; three sons, Oren May and wife Cathie, Allen May, and Joel May and wife Angela; sister, Florine Chapman and husband Harold; brother, Edward May and wife Dean; and five grandchildren, Matt, Kyle, Hannah, Haley and John David May. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Johns United Methodist Church, 9375 Highland Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
