Robert Manuel

Robert L. Manuel, resident of Prairieville, LA, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2015, at the age 89. Robert served in the navy during World War II and later retired from IBM.

Robert is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anne Manuel; children, Robert Jr. & wife Rebecca, Ron & wife Cammie, Don & wife Melanie, and Julie & husband Jim Harner; 18 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Cora Manuel.

The family requests that visitation hours be observed on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA, from 1:00 PM until the time of services at 2:00 PM.

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
