Robert "Bob" J. Jaworski
Bob Jaworski, age 77, who was a resident of Baton Rouge LA, passed away on April 17, 2015 at 3:53 a.m. in his home with his family by his side.

He retired in 1998 after 41 years of service from the Exxon Resin Plant. He was an avid traveler. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, and walking with The Baton Rouge Striders Walking Club. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958 as an artillery gun chief. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He never met a stranger and touched the lives of many. He will truly be missed.

He is survived by his wife of over 51 years, Barbara Orsini Jaworski; one daughter and son in law, Debbie and Joel Hartman, one son and girlfriend, Bobby Jaworski and Christine Daigle; three granddaughters Brittany Ragusa, Joleigh and Jordan Hartman; three brothers, Bill Jaworski and girlfriend Denise Bath, Gene Stevens and wife Janice, and Edward Jaworski and wife Virginia.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Sigmund Jaworski and Helen Jaworski; sister Barbara Jaworski Reineke; and his loving companion, Gumbo.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visiting hours will resume on Wednesday April 22, 2015 at St. George Catholic Church 7808 St. George Drive from 10:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 22, 2015 at an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Catholic Church.

Pall bearers will be Bobby Jaworski, Bill Jaworski, Gene Stevens, Ed Jaworski, Sean Reineke, and Joel Hartman.

Our family would like to thank Dr. Reese, Dr. Leo, Dr. Marsh and all of their staff for all of the tender love and care they gave.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
