Owner of Casual Creation and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 6 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. He was 73, a native of Chillicothe, Ohio, and a U.S. Army veteran. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, on Tuesday, Feb. 12, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes Wednesday from 1 p.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy J. Bucy; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Brenda and Randy Payne, Rome, Ga., Karen Monroe, Baton Rouge, and Robin and Matt Watrous, Prichett, Colo.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Janice Leffler and Scott and Diane Bucy, all of Dublin, Ohio, and Richard and Beth Bucy; two sisters, Nancy and Jack Snyder and Andrea and Jake McNeely, all of Chillicothe; sister-in-law, Shirley Dickey, Baton Rouge; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle and Robert Bucy; and a brother, Larry A. Bucy. He was a Mason, past president of Contract Furnishings Council and a 1953 graduate of Chillicothe High School.
